Abstrak
Adolescence is a period of transition that experiences the most rapid growth from childhood to adulthood. Adolescents are one of the ages that are vulnerable to various health problems, especially nutritional problems. Nutritional problems that occur in adolescence are caused by the need for more nutrients to help increase the growth and development of these adolescents. Anemia is a nutritional problem that is often found in adolescent girls. Insufficient intake of protein, iron, vitamin B12, vitamin C, folic acid and other nutrients related to hemoglobin levels can cause nutritional deficiency anemia. The increased need for iron in adolescent girls is more needed than adolescent boys because adolescent girls experience menstruation every month. Family economic factors can also affect the incidence of anemia due to the low purchasing power of family food.
