Abstrak
Indramayu Regency is a salt supply area for West Java Province along with Cirebon Regency. Based on data from the Central Statistics Agency, the land area for salt ponds in 2007 was 3.664 ha, but the potential land used for salt ponds is only 1.995 ha. Land use and cover changes, especially salt ponds, have resulted in a reduction in the level of salt production in Indramayu Regency. As one of the national contributors in salt production, changes in land use and cover in salt ponds need special attention. One of the efforts to suppress the dynamics of land ise and cover in Indramayu Regency and maintain Indramayu Regency as a contributor to National salt, this study was carried out which aims to: (1) identify land use and cover and patterns of dynamics in Indramayu Regency, (2) doing projections of land use and cover for 2031, (3) conducting an analysis of the suitability and availability of salt pond land, (4) calculating the projected salt commodity balance for consumption in Indramayu Regency, and (5) comp
