Abstrak
Pitcher plants (Nepenthes spp.), Including vines. Based on taxonomy, theNepenthaceae family has only one genus, namely Nepenthes and is classified as acarnivorous plant. Nepenthes later became a trend as commercial ornamental plantsin Indonesia, colors and patterns are interesting pockets make some kind sold bythe public as an ornamental plant. Until 2012, the number of these plants continuedto grow until they reached 139 species and most of them live and grow in Indonesia,namely 68 species with 59 species being endemic. N. aristolochioides is one of 59endemic species found in Indonesia. This species is found in a narrow distributionon the slopes of Mount Tujuh and is located in the forest area of Kerinci SeblatNational Park (TNKS), Kerinci Regency, Jambi Province.N. aristolochioides is listed as Critically Endangered (CR) according to theIUCN red list.
