Abstrak
The Kintamani dog is Indonesian germplasm that has the potential to bedeveloped. Its original habitat is in Sukawana, Kintamani, Bangli, Bali. TheKintamani dog was designated as the first Indonesian native dog by thePerhimpunan Kinologi Indonesia (Perkin) in 2006 and has been officiallyregistered as an Indonesian native world dog by the Fédération CynologiqueInternationale (FCI) on February 20 2019, under the breed name AnjingKintamani – Bali. Radiographic evaluation of the forelimb and hindlimb is aprerequisite in the FCI breed application. Breeding purebred dogs often haveproblems with genetic diseases that can be passed from parent to offspringhereditary, such as elbow dysplasia (ED) and hip dysplasia (HD). Therefore,radiographic examination is very important in determining the quality ofprospective broodstock.
