The growth of human population is estimated to be 8,6 billion lives by 2030,this translates to the growth of apparels production to be 102 tones per daily. Thisgrowth of population and demands of clothes create significant impact to theenvironment and social condition. Water consumption is estimated to increase from79 billion cubic to 118 billion cubic, and CO2 emission is estimated to increase from1.715 million tons to 2.791 million tons. The total of green house gas (GHG)emission from textile and garment production will be 1,2 billion tons per year. Thisis much higher than the total of GHG emission from all international flights andmaritime shipping.
